We are currently recruiting a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering development team in Canada. We are bringing the cloud lens to Snow’s technology intelligence platform, solving complex problems in cloud costing and cloud licensing domain. We are dedicated to building out our new greenfield project using modern technologies. While much of our work is done remotely, we value the ability to connect face-to-face for high value collaboration activities. As such, our ideal candidate is based in Ottawa, Canada.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll be working in an agile, cross-functional product team building high-performance applications running in a microservice architecture. You can write code at any level in the stack, with a preference for strong skills in the front end. Languages in use are React and Golang, though we welcome candidate with other system-level languages experience who are eager to learn. You will be actively involved from design to execution, your decisions will greatly impact our products and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement full stack product functionality – design, code, and test
• Collaboratively review code, architecture, and UX artifacts
• Mentor junior employees and help the team to continually improve
• Participate in requirements analysis and feature definition
• Contribute to system architecture

Experience building modern, full-stack applications using system level programming language. You will be developing in React and Go; we believe that skilled developers can transfer their skills between languages. You must have significant experience in front end development, and yet still be able to drop down to the back end to avoid being blocked.

• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• Experience in React or Golang is a huge plus
• A proven history of delivering customer-impacting features in an agile environment
• Experience with some of the following would be an asset:
  • Containers (Docker) or Kubernetes
  • Cloud native applications
  • Microservices
  • Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • RESTful web services
